Okay, so I know that it has been almost officially one year since the last update, so I have tried to give you an idea of what our year has been like. Obviously, I could not include everything, but here is a good taste. You might want to scroll to the bottom and work your way up, since that would be the chronological order of things.

Amber's friends at her bowling party.

More bowling

Addie and Ashley bowling

Amber had a bowling party for her 12th birthday. The place we went had cosmic bowling with the black lights. It was really cool.

Amber and Bill on their last day of Sanibel.

Amber and Bill before taking off on their kayaking trip

Amber and Bill on the shark fishing boat

Amber has always wanted to fish for sharks. So when her daddy took her on a special dad/daughter trip to Sanibel, he made sure to set up a fishing trip.

Ashley playing softball

Ashley wanted another American Girl doll for her 10th birthday.

For Ashley's 10th birthday we took her friends to Happy Joes, ate pizza, played games, and ate ice cream sundaes. It was a great time. I was actually surpised at how much fun they had.

This picture is blurry, but I was trying to quickly snap a photo of Grandpa Frank trying to ride Ashley's new bike.

Ashley's birthday present for her 10th birthday - a new bike!! Thanks Aunt Sara (and friend)

Amber played softball again this year. She still pitched and did quite well. This year she played with her classmates from Eldora, so it was fun for us to get to know some new parents that we will see for the next few years.

A picture of the four generations of women in our family.

Amber was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.

Addie played soccer this year. She was the only one in the family to do so. (Thank you!!) She was the only kindergartener on her team. All the others were preschool, so that is why she looks like such a giant. :)

Our traditional Easter family photo

The kids with their Easter baskets on Easter morning before hunting for eggs.

Amber played 6th grade basketball this year and was coached by her dad. He did a really nice job and they even won a few games. :)

Addie having a snack on the beach.

Amber getting ready to try out the boogie board. All the girls were really good with these by the end of our time there. Even though the water was a little cold, they jumped right in.

Mom, Dad, and Gma B flew down for part of the time. We had fun watching an older couple build sandcastles for days. Ashley and Gma B. took several trips to look at them.

Alex learned to jump into the pool this year. After one try he decided that he could do it on his own, and the rest of the week was spent jumping and climbing out to jump again.

Over Christmas Break we took a trip to Sanibel Island just our family. We had a great time laying on the beach, swimming at the pool and of course, eating! We went to Island Cow and the waitress was nice enough to take our picture. Amber, Ashley and Katie ate crab legs! Yum!

This is all the ground deer meat that we processed that evening.

When Bill brings home his deer, we process it out and make some into ground venison. This is the deer meat ground up and waiting to be stuffed into tubes.

Amber and Bill hunting together this past year. It was really cute to see them both dressed up. She had a lot of fun, even though she didn't get a deer.

A great highlight for the year - Amber's baptism. This is our pastor talking with her before the baptism. All the grandparents were there to see it happen and even a aunt and uncle I think. (Am I right Jenn?)
